Visit a heritage site in the Boyne Valley region for FREE tomorrow Wednesday June 7th - with thanks to the Free First Wednesday of the Month Scheme and the Office of Public Works - OPW. This popular incentive is due to continue over the summer months and the participating heritage sites in the Boyne Valley region include Old Mellifont Abbey in County Louth and the Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre and Oldbridge Estate, Brú na Bóinne Visitor Centre and Newgrange and Knowth (please note that the monuments can only be accessed via the Visitor Centre), the Hill of Tara and Trim Castle in County Meath.
